Manner, a company based in Hanko, has a rich history dating back to 1890. In the 1930s, Manner began producing castor products, initially focusing on wagon bogies and later, sheet metal castors. By the 1950s, castors became a core specialization, and the company introduced plastic castors in the 1960s. Since 1974, castors have been the company’s sole focus, with significant advancements including the introduction of the first fully plastic castor in 1998 and winning the Red Dot Design Award in 2010.

Today, Manner specializes in providing innovative solutions, particularly for the medical sector, ensuring high-quality and reliable products for global markets. Since 2023, Manner has been part of the Colson Group.
